Where is ZEN?
We are located just 5 minutes outside of Harrogate in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside on the A59 Skipton Road in Felliscliffe.
If you are visiting ZEN for the first time, we advise you to put ZEN Sensory into google maps and it will bring you straight to our car park. If you just put in our post code, it will take you to a farm nearby.
Is the centre disability accessible?
ZEN has been specifically designed for those with additional needs and disabilities and so the entire centre is wheelchair accessible. Our centre is fitted with both tracking hoists and mobile hoists so that all equipment at ZEN can be used by everyone. We have a changing room/toilet at ZEN with both a changing bed for children and adults as well as a baby changing unit. Our toilet facilities also include grab rails.
Do you have an age limit to visit ZEN?
ZEN is a therapeutic sensory centre for all ages and abilities, from birth, to children and adults with additional needs and those with Dementia.
Is there a cafe on site?
We do not have a cafe on site. All sessions at ZEN include complimentary tea/coffee/squash and you are welcome to bring your own food to eat in the Activity Room only.
Can I feed my baby throughout the Centre?
Breastfeeding, bottle feeding and drinks are welcomed throughout the entire centre. However, food is only to be eaten in the Activity Room and not in the other 3 sensory rooms (light room, water room and UV room).
Do I need a referal to visit ZEN?

Is there parking on site?
Yes, we have our own car park on site
When will you be increasing your numbers for a Full Access Session?
A Full Access Session will always be for up to 6 people including little ones. This has always been the case, even before COVID, not due to government guidelines but due to our own risk assessments and sizes of our rooms. If you have a larger group size, we do have other session types you can book into including hiring the entire centre.
